Transparency and protection of personal data
In compliance with the obligations arising from current privacy legislation (European Regulation for the protection of personal data no. 679/2016, GDPR art. 13), this site respects and protects the privacy of visitors and users, making every possible and proportionate effort not to violate users' rights.
This privacy policy has been divided into two parts:
- – Part 1: applies exclusively to the online activities of this site and is valid for visitors/users of the site. It does not apply to information collected through channels other than this website.
- – Part 2: applies to commercial relationships with customers and suppliers.
Part 1
Legal basis of processing
This site processes data based on consent (cookies). Providing data and therefore consent to collection and processing are optional: the user may deny or revoke consent at any time. Since May 25, 2018, some data are also processed based on the legitimate interests of the data controller.
Consent may also be requested for sending promotional materials.

The site uses log files that may include:

Data is processed at the web hosting datacenter, located in the European Economic Area.
Cookies
The site uses cookies, including Google Analytics in anonymized form:
- – _utma – distinguishes the visitor (2 years duration)
- – _utmb and _utmc – identify the session (duration until browser closure)
- – _utmz – identifies the traffic source (6 months duration)
- – _utmv – tracking custom variables (variable duration)
Using the site implies consent to cookies.
Disabling:
Via browser. Disabling may compromise some functionalities.
Social Network Plugins
The site integrates social plugins. Cookies are activated only with actual use of the plugin. The use of data is governed by the policies of individual social networks.
Security measures
Data is processed with measures aimed at preventing unauthorized access, disclosure or destruction. ARS personnel or authorized external suppliers may have access to it.
User rights
Pursuant to GDPR 679/2016, the user may:

- – receive intelligible communication
- – request update, rectification, integration or deletion
- – object to processing
- – request portability (if based on consent)
- – not be subject to automated decisions with legal effects
- – lodge a complaint with the Privacy Authority

Part 2 – Commercial relationships with customers and suppliers
Data controller
ARS Srl – Via G. Vico, 7 – 52100 Arezzo (AR), legal representative pro tempore. No DPO is appointed (does not fall within the cases ex art. 37 GDPR).
Purpose of processing
- – Supply of products/services (payments, contract execution)
- – Production and assembly of automation machines
- – Related administrative, accounting and management activities
Legal basis: commercial relationship ex art. 6, paragraphs b and c GDPR.
Data recipients
- – Public entities for inspection and control activities
- – Companies/professionals for accounting and control
- – Suppliers and trust companies for technical/organizational tasks
Geographic scope
Data is processed only within the European Community.
Data retention
Data is kept for administrative and accounting purposes for up to 10 years, as per tax obligations.
Profiling
Data will not be subject to profiling or automated decisions with legal effects.
User rights
The same rights provided by GDPR (arts. 15–22), as in Part 1.
